The prices below are supplied in kit form, which you can collect from us or contact us with your size and post code for a delivery price.

Please be aware when it rains oak releases tannin until it has been properly weathered this is a brown stain that will run onto your patio it can be cleaned off. If the gazebo and patio are all part of the same project, then maybe think about having the gazebo post sit in the subbase. You would then lay your patio up to the post, but we recommend 50mm space around the post and fill this with a pea shingle, this looks nice and allows somewhere for the water to drain off to. If your subbase isn’t very porous then you would need to drill some drainage holes.

Do we need planning permission?

We would always advise to consult your local council website to see if you would require planning permission for your desired project.

What sizes are available?

If you require a size that isn’t listed on our standard list, over in the prices section of our website, please do contact us as we are able to create a bespoke design for any size to suit your needs!

Do we need to fix it to the ground?

Our range of oak gazebos can be placed directly onto the ground where they will be secure, this is due to their own weight and the joinery used. The gazebos can be put on patios, decks, concrete pads or other surfaces, explore our photo gallery for examples. It is important to keep the posts as dry as possible to increase the longevity of the oak gazebo. If you are planning to use an existing base you will need to ensure there is no standing water when it rains, otherwise the posts will absorb this.

If you would prefer your gazebo to be kept off of the ground we are able to offer granite or sandstone staddle stones, these are an ideal support for oak posts and are attractive too.

What kind of Oak do we use?
